Postpartum Doulas
This is a part-time or full-time position for postpartum doulas. No certification is required. On-the-job training is provided. Our team offers daytime and overnight in-home postpartum support to families in the community, and will provide in-house support in Tandem’s Postpartum Suites in the future.
Midwives (Certified Nurse-Midwife)
We are building a team of 2-3 CNMs. Clinic visits will be one hour in length, and we plan to average 4-7 births per month total when our birth center is licensed. Midwives provide perinatal and gynecology care. Midwives will also travel to patient homes and rural counties for care, including routine postpartum visits.
Births requiring a higher level of care will be transferred to our local hospital which is a few minutes from our birth center.
Perinatal Educators
Part-Time Perinatal Educators will continue Tandem’s mission of providing comprehensive, inclusive and neutral perinatal education in at least one area of specialization: Childbirth, Postpartum, Lactation, Perinatal Nutrition, Perinatal Exercise/Fitness.
Social Workers
We envision pregnancy care including midwifery care and mental health workers for everybody.
